A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually evolved into a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't part of the original plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far larger.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Everyday chores seemed tougher than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.

Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
